Summer Concerts at Water Works Park

The time is almost here! Next Friday, May 20 The Arts Council of Appling County will present its first Free Summer Concert at Water Works Park, 93 Tippins Street. The show will begin at 7:00 PM and will feature Station No. 7, Baxley’s premier band for the Arts Council’s annual production, In the Pines. Light concessions will be available for purchase, but all are welcome to bring a picnic spread and enjoy the summer tunes at your best leisure.

The ACAC has four shows planned for this series. Friday, June 10: Aaron Irons – Macon, Georgia’s finest rockabilly musician, right here in Baxley! Friday, July 15: KennyRaiVern – Appling County boys rocking psychedelic jam funk. They’re awesome! Friday, August 5: Jason Bible – Voted among greatest Americana musicians in Savannah, Georgia in 2015.

The ACAC is delighted to bring this series to Baxley and hope that you all will come out and for all the shows! The ACAC is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of all of the arts by supporting the equality of all individuals to share in creative expression.
