Two Events in Store for Next Week!

The Arts Council of Appling County is hosting two great events next week! There will be a Story Writing Workshop on Thursday, June 9 and the second of our Summer Concerts at Water Works Park on Friday, June 10. Both events are free and all are encouraged to attend!

writingThursday’s Story Writing Workshop will begin at 6:30 PM at The Caroline Miller House, 93 Anthony Street in Baxley. Local retired educator and Baxley News Banner columnist, Mary Ann Ellis, will host this exceptional opportunity to pen your favorite family stories. Time will be focused on finding the perfect memory or tale and recording it so that generations will be telling it with fondness for years to come. The class is free and open to anyone, ages 12 and up! Space is limited to 15 participants, so please contact us at or 912-278-2772 to reserve your spot.

Friday’s Summer Concert will begin at 7:00 PM at Water Works Park, 93 Tippins Street in Eddings Enterprise Summer Concerts Aaron IronsBaxley.
