Friends! Tomorrow is FRIDAY! It’s the end of the work week, National Hot Dog Day and the date of the Arts Council of Appling County’s THIRD FREE Summer Concert! The bad news is, our friends from Bar None Vending & Concessions will not be able to be with us to provide their AWESOME hot dogs. But that’s the only bad news! And, y’all, there are hot dogs to be found all around the city! Dairy Queen, B&F, Dick’s Wings, Barbara Deans, and I bet I’m forgetting some places. So – if you want to celebrate such an important holiday – go pick one up and come have a picnic with us! The Arts Council will be selling sodas, popcorn and ice cream sandwiches (all for a dollar).
Friday’s Summer Concert will begin at 7:00 PM at Water Works Park, 93 Tippins Street in Baxley. The show will feature KennyRaiVern, local Appling County boys rocking psychedelic jam funk. These guys are awesome and not to be missed! This concert is free and family friendly. Bring your kids in their swimsuits to enjoy the City’s splash pad!
The ACAC is delighted to bring this series to Baxley and hope that you all will come out for all the shows! The ACAC is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of all of the arts by supporting the equality of all individuals to share in creative expression. We depend on membership and sponsorship from community members, just like you, to fulfill our mission. You can get a membership form on our website: http://www.arts-council-of-appling-county.com or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 912-278-2772. We believe we’re succeeding! Join us to see!
